Anyone have experience with claims handling from Progressive or Boat USA ?
Currently have Progressive but a friend had a hassle with them after hitting a submerged floating railroad tie. Considering Boat USA. Premium about 50 bucks more but better coverage. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks |

| No experience with those carriers but I have had a hassle free claim for hitting a submerged item with my carrier (Charter Lakes). Have a buddy that just had a claim for the same issue with the same carrier. In both cases they paid for new lower units. I have an agreed value policy with them. |

I've had Charter Lakes boat insurance for years. Never had any problems with claims. Reasonable prices.
