Launched out of Charlies just past Seadrift and the big question was would it be worth trying croakers? We opted to throw artificial and headed to south shoreline. Was fishing by 7:00 am and had our limit of trout before 8:00
Incoming tide wagood and bait was hanging tight to bank. Trout were nice and got to test out some plastics I ordered from Cabelas. No plastics I have used hold up nearly as good as academy's thumpin muller.

Nice trout. I have done well with those Thumpin Mullet as well. They hold up pretty well other than I tend to have the glass beads fall out after a couple fish. If you have not already tried them check out Brown Flappin Devil's. I catch tons of fish on the same plastic before having to change out. Academy used to carry but doesnt anymore. Roy's has them though.

Will look at trying them. Your right the glass rattle does fall out but I could care less that it comes with that. I love being "in" the fish and not having to put a new lure on. The price is a bonus as Academy has had some of the colors on sale for a while.
