The other day while cleaning fish I noticed one of the pelicans that came around had what looked like a ring attached to it beak. I thought maybe it was part of a tag or something. I mention that to my neighbor. The following day my neighbors noticed that it was a hook and he couldnt open his mouth wide enough to feed well. They enticed it over with some fish, threw a net over it and was able to extract the hook. Today it was back and eating with quite an appetite. I'm glad they were able to save it. Way to go Cliff and Tony!

I would like to have seen a video of that. Good on your neighbors. It's good to help animals when we can. Smile

If it's the same Cliff I think it is(has the old 88 model Majek RFL), you ever do any fishing with him? He's always been able to find the fish, and has quite a few of his own 2-5 minute honey holes right here by the house. He's a damn good guy, known him since I was knee high to a grasshopper.
