Does anyone else pay attention to these?

After failing hard fishing yesterday, most of what I attribute it to is the sun being low in the sky right in front of me the whole time I was trying to drift. Of course, this was because the wind was from the north and the sun was only 55 degrees altitude max. While drifting, spotting fish was impossible with the glare on the water. And there was too much floating grass for us to blind cast. Next time with these conditions I'll have to try something else like offshore or live baiting. Also side note, we were in kayaks so couldn't just move to another spot to avoid the grass.

The fish were lethargic yesterday... I think the bite is happening in the evening or late afternoon.

Interesting post. I kayak fish often, and though I prefer to start fishing at sunrise, I have noticed how hard it is to read sandy areas vs vegetation until about 10:00 AM. I like to pitch gulp into sandy areas.

Also, in the evenings after 6 ish, the same thing. The area I fish is incredibly clear.
