Went out about 8:30 after a taqueria Jalisco barbacoa. First drift resulted in only 2 bites however, they were two lower slot red fish. Moved to a different location, picked up two keeper trout both about 16 inches. Kept moving picking up fish here and there but the bite was fairly slow. Got home by 11 in time for "Jeopardy". Should have come in earlier as I didn't catch anything in the last 45 minutes. Wound up with 6 trout and 2 reds. Also got 3 needlenose, a lizard fish and several skippies.

TFTR....we went yesterday after work, and something similar....only one red blow up on my top water up high and a few decent trout knocking it up in the air 4 feet (only using single hooks, so no hook ups).....drifted down by the shoreline and it was dink trout central....no keepers, plenty of action....
