Having time to kill until my granddaughters quincenera this afternoon I said to Mary "I'm bored". She said go out fishing. Don't have to tell me twice. Went to my honey hole an made a couple of drifts. Started out with an 18" flounder followed by a couple trout. Went back for a second drift trying for s slam. Picked up several undersized trout and I did get two red fish but they were both about 18.5". Almost the slam. Winds picked up as did boat traffic. I guess the boaters showing up got over their hangover from yesterday and decided to hit the water.
Water was clear in spots and I caught all on sand eels. Grass was a problem with maybe 1 of every 4 casts not resulting in a grass skirt around my lure.

Very nice hit and run. Nab the fish and off the water just in time for the bozos.

Laughing Man, you are a lucky guy. I say those dreaded words I get:
"well, you can unload the dishwasher"
"fish tanks could use a water change"
"i'm sure we could use a few things from HEB"
"how about that broken #### you told me you would fix #### weeks ago"

Whole flounder cooked 1 of 2 ways.
Either put it in olive oil coated foil, cut slits in it, salt, pepper, butter, onion and garlic. Wrap it tight and throw it on the grill.
Or, slice it down the middle and separate flesh from the bone. Stuff with bread stuffing and crab and bake.
