Nueces River at Uvalde was/is about 2/3 or more full yesterday morn...
Mathis/CC Lake is gonna get a lot of water and probably be some flooding at Labonte into Nueces Bay...
not sure how low the lake is...
the Leona at Uvalde is up big...
the Dry Frio at Knippa is up big...
the Frio at Knippa is up...
the Seco at D'Hanis is up...
the Hondo at my place was almost bank full yesterday...
the last 4 drain into Choke Canyon Lake, then into the Nueces...
probably a good influx of fresh water into Nueces/CC Bay...
elsewere,
the Medina N/W of Bandera is flooding and has raised Medina Lake from 90ft low to 40something low...
the Blanco River flooded countless home at Wimberly and even San Marcos...
have not heard, but guess the San Antonio River should be up, also.
San Marcos river flooding and I heard I-35 was closed for a time just N of San Marcos...
the Gudalupe has filled Canyon Lake and is flooding downstream towards Victoria for the second time.
there were 2 deaths reported in San Marcos...
on the bright side... the bays on the Coastal Bend should get much needed fresh water ...
maybe even into the Laguna..
this should be a huge help to the eco-system along that area. _________________ the creepy uncle that scares the kids.... |

Lake Corpus Christi is full from last week's rains. Seem to remember reading they opened some of the gates on the dam.
Choke Canyon is 1/3 full at 25 feet below conservation pool; suspect this little rain event is going change that dramatically.
I think every river in Texas that reaches the Gulf (at least from Nueces east) has a flood stage at some point along the river right now. Good to see water running in the rivers again! |

| Suspect that there will be a lot of debris washing ashore along Padre Island. |
