Hit the water about noon (back home by 6:30). We did 5 drifts from Pita Island south to the pier, with live shrimp under popping corks. Boring! Two dinks to show for our efforts.
Moved across to the IC flats. Two drifts, four dinks. We were having a hard time giving away the shrimp. No hardheads, skippies or perch.
The water is very high right now and looks awful (opinion).
We moved north of the causeway along the spoil islands and slowly started catching. Two dinks, one rat, 3 boxed trout (all about 17") and one red at 23 1/2". The water didn't look any better on that side, but the tide was very strong moving towards C.C. Bay.
I sure wish they would've built the bridge they promised us (example given-Portland Causeway), the water may look differently today......

TFTR! And glad you found some fish. Water in my canal is so bad you can hardly tell I have a light out.

Here on the island, I can barely see my light too because of the dirty water. Zia, are you still catching crabs on your back dock, despite the dirty water?

Put out three rings yesterday for the heck of it. Not even the little quarter sized crab.
