got to the beach about 815 and stay till about 1030. Fish bites and shrimp and cut bait .got one hard head in 2 hours. Same conditions as reported from yesterday except winds were higher. saw only two other fishermen out that whole stretch from Bob Hall to the sticks.

My father and I fished north of BHP. Used fish bites/shrimp combo and cut mullet as well. Caught 2 slot reds early and tons of hardheads after 11:00 am. Still was better than being at work. Man and his wife quickly ran back to his RV and grabbed his rod and reel when he saw us pull in the 2 reds. Lol.

I wonder if the fishing might be better after the storm. The pressure has been falling for the last hour....

I don't know about saltwater, but in freshwater, I have had much success when the barometric pressure is dropping; like before a storm. It seems to really turn on the fish....

glad you got some reds redfin. Also, I'm glad I left the beach when I did. As soon as I got home the skies opened up and the rains came with a vengeance. Have been without power here in the bluff for over three hours now. (3:30)
