Hit the channel for a few hours and managed 4 fish by 9:30. First time I have been this year that the flats have been fully submerged, water was about a foot higher than last week. The bite died and then at about 10 on the dot the wind picked up hard and blasted down the channel. I doubt I could have felt a fish in that wind if it was slapping me in the face. I headed back to the car and made it home in time to enjoy an easy lunch before class. Throwing the usual chicken plastics.

It has been pretty good so far and last fall. It is hard to try new places, I almost never leave Packery without dinner and without a boat or kayak I never feel too compelled to explore. As long as the weather cooperates its a great place to be  |
