Made the same trip as Sunday, fishing the channel next to the flats with Gulp. No flounder today, but came away with a nice stringer. Super slow retrieve - trout eating straight off the bottom!

Nice catch. I guess I may have to start fishing the bottom again.
I quit bottom fishing because I HATE catching hardheads.... ever since I got a fin broken off in a knuckle while trying to get one off a hook. Crying or Very sad

I fished the same area yesterday. Ended up with two reds at 24" and a drum at 21". Bite was dead by 10am.

tftr. I'll be potlicking your spot in the next day or two. Smile

I need some fresh fish and my honey hole produced a single sheepshead on Wednesday...way to many casts for one strike and one fish.
