A buddy and I are heading down to Mansfield on Monday staying through Wednesday and are going to work that jetty til our arms fall off. If anyone is in the area, stop by and have a beverage with us.
We will be at the jetties with and camp looking like this.

 mile post marker...
I have a few GI extenable tent poles that did well during sharkathon 2013.
.blue plastic tarp... need a windward high center pole.. next time..
longer anchor line posts other than surveyors's stakes to cope w.wind...
20x12 and 2 tables..
J-reb and surfguy and crew had decent eats..
have expanded to 2 Coleman stoves and grill for the next trip.
in '12 friend and I found out that white gas lanterns are good for 25+ northers at Mustang Beach...
EZ up's are fragile , but tent poles and plastic tarps are, properly done, hold better.

The ez up may or may not be deployed this trip. I don't think we will necessarily need it. As far as the wind is concerned, yea, it'll be fine. This is about getting back to nature with a little fishing thrown in. What better way to enjoy it than see it at its worse. Should make a pleasant Tursday and an awesome Wednesday.
I'll be sure to post p after a short recovery. Worst case senario, we'll have to trek back to the Laguna for wade fishing.
