I get mine @ CC Nut & bolt. I get a nice discount there too on the industrial size bottle. 😊😊 _________________ Come out & gig some flounder with Straight to The Point Guide Service!! http://floundergiggin.com/ for more info

I found Ospho at West Marine, but have bought it at Home Depot once years ago. On CorrosionX, i generally prefer to use the non-spray bottle, with a small brush, and it lasts years versus a spray can. I recently bought a gallon online for $52.00, including shipping! I plan to use the gallon in a SS pneumatic spray bottle I've used for WD40. I bought my last non-spray bottle at Academy years ago, but have only seen it in spray cans there since.
Obviously, I think CorrosinX is very effective in stopping and preventing corrosion, and plan to spray my entire galvanized trailer with it. |

| I just spoke to a tackle shop and they were steering me away from corrosion-x, saying that it wasn't very good and it coated parts preventing lubrication. Can anyone confirm since I've never used it before? |

like spray silicon products, it DOES attract dirt and sand, which eventually defeats the use of corrosion-x....people tend to use too much of it, which clogs and gunks over time, and also don't take proper care of their stuff (I'm guilty as he'll on that one)....corrosion-x isn't exactly magic, but has has limited uses in which it does well....great for fogging outboard motors under the cowling, but mediocre for use on bearings for baitcasters....
ole Capt Mike swears that "Royal Purple" is the best stuff for reels....pretty sure they have it at Roys (site sponsor)...
hope this helps...please keep your eyes peeled for Ospho and let us know...
thanks,

Port A Outfitters. Blue and white can. Corrosion control or something similar. Spray it on anything, including your most private parts. Good for electronics, boat trailers, motor parts, rusty and creaky bones and on and on. Hard to come by as Tackletown and others(Ace, et. al.) do not carry it anymore.
Not Corrosion X which I use on my boat trailer and yes, it does pick up grime, fish scales, dirt, unwanted cat markings and such biut boy does it work! _________________ Mike |

Not sure where you are and where you have looked but Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace, Tractor Supply ..... all carry it. Shoot even the little hardware store near me in Orange Grove has it. |

| The reel repair guy at Billmore in Pt A recommended tri-flow to me a few years ago and I really like it for my reels. Corrosion-x for everything else. |
