Jerk when you get in a 10 item line with 15 items and the cashier looks at you like you're a jerk, others in the line look at you like you're a jerk, and you walk off without a thank you to the cashier like you're a jerk. Eleven items ok...15....you're a jerk.

You mean the clerk didn't ask you which 10 items you wanted to buy. That's what I would have done. _________________ Now that food has replaced my sex life I can't even get into my own pants!!!!!!!!

| I would have replied, "All nine of them." That's how many items I had. The person ahead of us had the overage. I rarely use the 10 item or less isle. It's usually crowded, and we rarely have 10 items or less. But if I do use it, I follow the rules. |

| It's funny how life happens. I'm in the same 10 item or less line the other day, and here's this guy with a full basket. The cashier tells the man after checking him to next time go to the other line. He looks at her bewildered, says not a word and then leaves with his cart. It was obvious he could not speak English. So, I stand corrected. You can be in the wrong line and not be a jerk. The checker reprimanded him, and he understood not a word she said. Later, I saw him sitting on a bench in front of the store with his groceries. He was waiting for a taxi. I felt sorry for this man. |

I 've checked out in the 10 or less at HEB many times w/ more than 10 items...
I had the red handbasket and a floor mgr directed me to an empty 10 or less lane... _________________ the creepy uncle that scares the kids.... |
