My neighbor and I decided to dust off the yaks and hit the water on saturday morning in search for some trout. We hit the water around 8:00 am and found a few. Winds were not too bad and water was a bit brown, had a good time and managed a few keepers measuring in at 16, 17, and 19 . The keepers were all caught on live shrimp under popping cork. There were lots of dink trout out there hitting my savage gear 3D shrimp but none of the bigger trout wanted anything to do with it.

Water today in ULM was brown. My morning coffee was clearer. That includes nighthawk.

Hey Zia, was there a significant change over night? In my opinion it wasn't too bad yesterday. I was hoping to go out again tomorrow morning if I dont get called into work. By the way I might have snatched one of those trout from your two minute honey hole Very Happy sorry!! I seen you out there once last yr, you were with your grandson. I was out with a buddy named Israel, not sure if you remember him.

Hey, leave my fish alone. If I'm not mistaken, Israel is now in San Antonio.

Changed big time since yesterday.

Yes sir, Israel is now in San Antonio. He relocated due to work, sold his boat to my neighbor. I was out on a job with Israel this past week, he's planning to make some time and head down here to get some fishing in.
