I fished this past weekend with ZebcoWillie at SHamrock on Friday and Saturday nights. We hit B&R Drop-off on Sunday afternoon.

We had 2 great evenings of fishing at Shamrock. The wind howled both nights but we were able to deal with it. The reds where eating up Gulp Swimming Mullets under a mauler and/or alameda rattling cork. We had several slot reds up to 25" Friday night. We had a few small trout and several large skipjacks. Most came on the gulps or a DOA Shrimp freelined.

We had a bunch of just under slot reds (16"-19") Saturday evening. Just a few small trout and ladyfish.

Willie needed a good trout for an online tournament so we decided to hit B&R Drop-off mid-day on Sunday on our way home. We fished for 1.5 hours which was all the time we had. Willie picked up a 22" trout and I picked up a 23" and 25" trout. It was sweet!!!!! I knew we should be coming up on a mid-day bite with the moon directly under foot. It was fun to paddle out at 1pm and come back at 2:30 with 3 darn good trout.

Anyway, the evening bites were hot up during the full moon and the mid-day turned out to be good too.

I finally got the pics of the 25"trout uploaded to the web....

That was me....

William had the family (which is all girls) at a PortA condo this past week. He was in dire need of a fishing partner. I stayed at the condo and we fished the evenings. I had carpooled with CatDaddy and was hanging around Jerry & Debbi's until he was ready to head back Sunday. I started to come by the house but I figured you would be on the beach Sunday.

Yep... I thought we had a good opportunity to find some good fish this weekend. I knew if I called you, we wouldn't catch a dam cold much less a fish. So..... NO, I didn't call you cuz I wanted to catch some fish!!!!!!!
