Fishing was fantastic on the Thunderbird with Capt. Murphy that pulled out of Port Mansfield this past Tuesday. The whole boat limited out!! I had a BLAST. Caught the largest Red Snapper on the boat and the biggest eel the Captain had ever seen!! I will go again for sure next year. On Wednesday, the boat was moved to it's dock at SPI.
Here's some photos before the autopsy(sp?).

The whole day was very exciting and the catch was unimagined! Never caught one before. They ARE delicious! Froze 5 big dinner sized packages and put them in my 'sucker upper machine' to get all the air out. Should keep really well.
Thanks for all your comments!! _________________ FishLady

there be monsters off the curvature...
now you need to set sights on Ling, Amberjack, Grouper...
and if you ever hook a pelagiac... well, it's another world when a fish like that comes to the dance.

kweber, I won't be here then because I'll be in Aransas Pass for the month of April and fishing Lake Conroe the month of May then on to Lake Tawakoni, Lake Texoma, Lake Whitney and Medina Lake (ha ha, no water in Medina). After that, we'll come back to CC before heading south to Port Isabel for the winter season. NO CAN DO...see. _________________ FishLady
