I just heard of a guy catching a 40" trout out of Baffin yesterday. I wonder what the deal is on that. Here is the picture I was sent.

KIII's facebook page just posted this same picture with the Caption "Record trout 40" caught in Baffin yesterday" in the comments a lot of people are saying this picture is old and its bs.

Haha can't believe kiii got suckered into this. Wait! Yes I can!

The trout was caught last year in Galveston from what I can remember. It was 30-32" long. It's been going around through texting and what not.

Saw that pic a year or so ago. As I remember it was caught in E Matagorda bay and was a bit of 30". Amazing what camera angles/long arms can do for a fish.

it's too bad wade paddle and pole doesn't try to ban artificially enhanced trout photos.

Caught a couple months ago in Matty, 30.25"-10lbs. The guys in the pic gave out the correct numbers that day, since then the internet has been all over the place with it.

Old pic from last year .. But look how big his hands and fingers are must be 8"-9" fingers that's a state record too.lol

Another strike against it is we definitely havent had bluebird conditions like that for several days. Too bad Kiii. They should check their facts with Tyler and the gang first. lol

I got this awhile back. Im Headed South has the correct numbers from the information I received. Nice Fish. I too think this picture is photo shopped. The anglers left hand is huge. Again nice fish.

Numbers are correct but the photo is NOT shopped or edited. Just a good photo.

Edit: Oops forgot the "NOT". Not a shopped photo is what I meant lmao
