Smack's, Jack's and Red's were the order of the day at the end of the south jetty today. Got an early start and was at my favorite spot on the end of the jetty at about 8:30am this morning. Only past 5 fisherman on the way out to the end. Mullet were running heavy in large schools moving off shore. The water was clear and Smack's were getting there share... I baited my lemon rig with a medimun size live shrimp and made a cast on the surf side... I quickly found out there were more than Smacks hitting the mullet... 20 minutes later... My biggest Jack Crevalle of the year...Tuff customer on a trout rod... Cool

Way To Go Titeline! That catch displays great skill and patience! Twenty minutes can turn into a long time when it's back-and-forth with a brute like that. The surf looks really calm.
