Took a buddy fishing Sat and boats were already camped at all my "secret" spots. Finally found some deeper water and caught a few dozen small trout but ended the day without a single keeper.
Sunday my dad and brother drive down from North TX and my fishing buddy joined us "my co guide". We launched out of Charlie's and fished the north shoreline as a warm up and we picked up two trout three drum and five reds all off chicken on chain saltwater assassin.
Unloaded our gear at fish camp and headed back out to fish the tide movement on a gut with shell. There we picked up 33 trout.
This am only three of the five(dad and brother ) headed out and we caught trout every cast but only managed 5 keepers by 9am and they needed to head back to make long drive home. Needless to say I was thrilled to put them on fish as a new boat owner.
