Port A jetties have been a little slow on the goats...also no live shrimp have been available the last couple weeks. Saw a few catching on the north jetty yesterday on live that they bough at Tarpon landing on the other side |

My bait of choice for Sheepies is ghost shrimp. Get you a ghost shrimp sucker, a small pail with a couple inches of sand and water and go get them. There is a limit, used to be 20, so look that up.

Last weekend on the docks out East they were loaded with Sheepshead, you could see them all patrolling the whole area but they had lockjaw and couldn't get a bite. Oddly enough my kids caught a couple undersized on rattletraps but other than that the larger ones wouldn't acknowledge anything we put in front of them. I even went and bought some dead shrimp with no luck. _________________ JJ |
