Went to the 17-18 area of PINS. Driving great. Weather great. Fished incoming tide from 0900 to 1330. Nothing, had fish bites/shrimp and cut bait in water. Nothing would even take the shrimp. Mainly fished first gut. Beer and tacos were good though! Very Happy

Tough fishing. The beach looked great. Hope it picks up again. It will probably be best when the weather is nasty of course. Gotta try though.

Fishing was crazy good through Saturday. Charters on Sunday and Monday produced but not as well. Water color took a turn for the worse and never cleared. Possible cold water upwelling occurring?? Did managed pompano and reds but the surprising thing was the croaker yesterday. I think I've caught 2 in the surf in the last decade and we caught a bunch yesterday. Cool thing to see them showing back up!! Kids had a blast with them. As always, this next front will change everything. Hopefully we get some clear water once she has settled down. Jeff Wolda

Thats to bad! I had a GREAT day Friday! Saturday morning was way slower for me though. Wish ya'll would have done better.

I noticed the croakers too. I caught several BIG ones on Friday. First keeper sized I have seen in years. Hope it keeps up!

Had a fly charter on Sunday. Thought the water would continue to clear overnight. Thought wrong. Showed up to find bad water all the way to the jetty. Tough to fly fish in. We got a lot of practice in though!

I practically got skunked sunday in the same area except for a sheepshead and a few drum. Didn't have a whole lot of time but I expected it to be better. I was going to go back on monday but because it was so slow I opted to go gigging monday night instead.
