Funny what the internet does huh? Theres plenty of lurkers on this site. I dont want 1545454524356439 boats stacked up where I fish. Thats why I keep my hot spots confidential.

That wasn't counting the 4-5 trucks parked and several waders out there. Shocked

By the way, I heard Indian point is slamming right now! Very Happy

The boats were out there because there was storms north and south plus the bite has been awesome everywhere. If you can't catch fish right now you might as well find another hobby. I'm going to start fishing Deadmans and Kateshole because the fishing has been extremely awesome back there with reports of huge schools of reds roaming the flats.
I think theres plenty of room especially for our local service men who are only here for a short while and then they depart.

Thanks for the advice IMS. Went out this morning and checked it out. Pretty cool place to wade. Couple fish in the cooler and made it home for breakfast.

That sounds like a good time IMS!! I'm pretty sure you fish with James I saw you post a pic with him a few months back with a good looking trout.

There was quite a bit of boat traffic all around the LS area I saw several the whole time I was there. But then again it seems like they are always everywhere anyways. Most are pretty good about avoiding kayakers and waders but sometimes it just seems like they couldnt care less. Last weekend i had a buddy in from out of town so there were three of us about a mile or so from shore around some spoils in the kayaks. Not sure if three kayaks means fish but it seemed like every boat coming through would cut off our wade by trolling up in front of us and then giving it some serious gas and take off . Pretty annoying to say the least, but in the end we got my buddy out fishing and we all had a blast.

I think it just depends whos going through. I fished it yesterday for the first time. Drifted up to what might have been a channel but not sure. Was catching trout and boaters were just going around behind me ocassionally yelling "how big is that one?!?!"....some kayakers are jerks..some boaters are jerks...but there are some kind souls still...

Agreed. I'm sure that I've done that to someone at least once and never even realized I did it.

I know this is no new information but there are some really muddy areas off Laguna Shores. Just gotta be careful... I'm 6'4" and a few years back I sunk past my waist in mud right off the bank after a wade.

Yikes! That's why I was looking for someone who knew the area a little so I didn't get out there by myself and wind up in mud up to my neck or something I'm 5' 7" so it can really sneak up on me.

We fluffed up 3 different schools of reds yesterday back in the Deadmans area/ crane island. Found some more north of the powerlines. I'm talking slot size.
