How's it going everyone. I moved out here about a year ago and have been having a blast fishing out here. I've met a lot of good people fishing out here who have really expanded my learning curve with this whole south Texas fishing thing. I wade the island and kayak around mustang pretty often. I want to give Laguna shores a shot at wading. I've heard it can be tricky wading out around Laguna shores due to mud. I'm not looking for anyone to show me their honey hole just someone who wades out there and can show me around a little bit ie where to park and how to navigate the area. Any help is appreciated. Thanks all.

When parking your vehicle, you need to park on the west side of Laguna shores. Not the water side (for the most part).

Park your vehicle on the west side of the little bridge and walk out to the end of the long old Don Patricio bridge and fish the area. It can be good out there.....I know. I live just down the road. Now if you are ever fishing the area in front of the house that sits on the otherside of the road at the end of Lola Johnson rd and the folks come out and ask you why you are fishing there ....tell em they don't own the property out there. The kite surfers think they own that area. They don't, and anyone can fish there....says IMS. Very Happy

IMS is right on the money (as usual). The fishing in that area can be very good but is best in the morning due to the kite surfers taking over.

Thanks for the advice IMS. Went out this morning and checked it out. Pretty cool place to wade. Couple fish in the cooler and made it home for breakfast.
