I haven't been out for while and not keeping up with the news. Is this Brown Tide?

How widespread is it and what is the prognosis? Fish don't like it either. They moved out, I guess.

Just picked up one of my Granddaughters from Florida at the airport, took her back here to Rockport the long way to show her the Corpus area. Going across the Bluff it almost reminded me of the Chicago, IL canals back in the 50's, does not look inviting. Sad

Think stinky and loud..., Use topwaters early am and later in the day paddle tails with a glass bead insert helps...and toss a bit of stink on them (strike king Gel). I've managed to wrest a few solid trout up to 32" in the worst of the brown tide (back parts of Baffin). By my observation, I've had the best days before/after new moon.

Lately I've been intentionally fishing the dirty water just cause few people fish in BT, and I have had success doing so. Seems like the fish get less pressure and get fatter, so I in part don't mind it at all.

Reminds me of the UPS slogan "What can brown do for you?"
