There has been a coast guard chopper hovering over the channel at Charlie's pasture for at least a couple hours. It also looks like there is a coast guard boat near the pier and a bunch of police on shore. I hope the pier didn't wash away again.

a man fell off the pier at Charlie's Pasture and drowned, their looking for his body, at least that is what the KIII news said.

Body was recovered this afternoon. Saw CCPD Dive Team leaving town around 5PM... Sad

It was a rather confusing report on Channel 3. One guy said he drowned in the ICW and then I gathered later it was either Charlie's Pasture or Robert's Park pier. Sorry to hear about that. It was a rough last week up in the Houston area as they lost around 5 or so to drownings in the Houston/Galveston area....some wade fishing and others swimming.
