I do not personally know this fisherman or his partmer. I have talked to him at the gas station in Portland once and also at the Nueces Bay boat ramp this Thursday. He is very deep in smarts, since he is fishing "ALL" my old spots in Nueces Bay! He seems very nice and has always been very courteous while out fishing. I have never had him come within a 1/2 mile when I am fishing. I do not know his name, but I want to call him "Eddie The Cruiser." His boat will get on plane at such a slow speed, that he can cruise anywhere he want's to go, in search of all the mighty game fish we have here in the "Great State of Texas." |

shallowsport,
It was a live weigh-in. They had TPWD there to take care of the fish and release them into their holding tanks. The two we are holing swam around in the tank right away and were healthy. I think there was only one fish that died. I would like to know what TPWD ended up doing with the fish though. Their holding tank was on a trailer and they hauled them off somewhere. |

I didn't even know there was a Baffin Bash this weekend. Good thing the CF.COM reporter was there. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

several trophy trout from last years tournament were tagged with acoustic transmitters by people at the harte research institute and are part of an ongoing study. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

David Murray and David Rowsey won the very first one, and the third one while Tom was still putting them on. His first 4 Bash's, including POC, they won three out of four events. I guess that's why "Dad" aka Capt. Billy likes Rowsey better than me _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| Eddie and the cruiser is actually a guide I fished with last year named Jeff Smarga ( no way I am spelling his name right or can remember exactly how to say it.) He is based out of Rockport and a very kmowlegable guide. He fished the redfish tour around the south and did very well. He also is a duck guide. |
