What is the best software to edit the videos from a Go Pro, I have been playing around with Windows Movie Maker. The Go Pro site was beyond me.HELP

If your computer can handle the HD footage then movie maker should work just fine

I purchased the pinnacle studio 16 movie editor. It's awesome. Best buy had it on sale for $40. Movie maker is Pretty good too, but if you want to really get into the editing, pinnacle is a cheap and easy beginner software. Then when you want more, you can upgrade to their bigger software! But that one is like $150!!

What did you not like about it? I would like to have more than just the fish eye perspective but it looks cool. I know a ton of the reality shows are using them as you can see the mounts in the vehicles as they are driving along etc.

i returned it. I couldnt stand the bubble effect. it was a hero 2. once i added up all the accessories that i would of had to buy before i liked it, it would have been over 500$. all i wanted was a water proof camera to take on the boat. so i went with the fuji film water proof camera. i think it takes great pictures and its about 150$, video is not bad either. and i can preview what i just took.

under water shot with the fuji

I use TrakAxPc It is super easy to use, relatively cheap and does a decent job. I do have issues on some of my videos and i'm not sure what is causing them... the GoPro, my editing or the software.

Here is a quick video of some dolphins i made from the bow of a catamaran.

I just got a Hero2 from a buddy of mine and the videos it takes are great quality. The problem I have is when I go to load them to Youtube the quality decreases dramatically. I consider myself somewhat computer savvy but this I cannot figure out. No special editing software just using the software that came with the desktop Windows Movie Maker. I tried to upload a video onto Youtube directly w/o filtering it through Movie Maker and with Movie Maker and only saw a slight difference. That dolphin video was awesome by the way.
