A post sometime back about where to clean fish got me thinking. That could be a bad thing. Anyway! I get tired of all the slime and guts getting on my tailgate. Before leaving the beach I try to clean it as well as I can at the beach. Inevitably when I get home I fail to give it a good cleaning. I decided to make a portable, makeshift one for the front of my truck. This way when I get home it is easier to hose down the front of the truck than the entire bed.

I shave down a couple 2" X 2" to fit in my rod holders.

I them put a table on top of the brackets and drop 4 stainless bolts into oversized holes to hold it in place and, voila!

Because it is not permanently bolted together it is easily disassembled and stored in the back of the truck.
