Took a couple of my co-workers to packery channel to teach the females how to fish. I started the day snagging a decent 19 inch flounder on Gulps. The day slowed down around noon but spiked around 2 when i landed a 15 incher and my co-worker landed a 17 incher within minutes of each other. My personal best came about a couple hours later when i hauled in a 24 inch doormat flattie! I think it's safe to say i'm a firm believer in the gulp now...

Caught one on new penny, another on natural, one on molting, and pearl white brought in the big boy.

This kid had to have been taught by an experienced, true "Jetty Fisherman". No way you just stumble out there and pull in a door mat like that without some guidance early in your career. Who knows, this kid might have taken after his kid brother's ex-defensive line coach?!?!?

Either way, very nice fish Wes! I'm glad you are figuring out where all the fish are so when we come down, i can expect a little more than mullet and hard heads that I catch with this old trainer (whiting slayer of the PINS) that I used to fish with.

Maybe if we can pull out this old fisherman out of twin peaks, we could wet a line....?

Thanks coach! And unfortunately there's no escaping twin peaks, that place is boobie trapped!

Very nice saddle blankets. You know why your dad bought a two seat kayak now? He is letting you scout out everything and paddle him around when he retires.
