Howdy!

Me and my bro are heading down tomorrow and gonna camp down the island. Hoping to fish down to the Mansfield Jetties. Anybody know if there is a burn ban? Can we have a small campfire or at least a small grill for cooking dinners? I tried to find the info on NPS website but nothing recent that I could find.

Thanks and wish us luck, I've struck out on the last two YEARS.

I actually had this question asked a few times during Sharkathon. There is no burn ban!

Check the weather. Saturday looks really good. Sunday on the other hand could be interesting with a cold front blowing through early in the a.m. Jeff

You can check day to day at 361-949-8175 for tides burn ban etc.
