Got home this evening from reffing a VB tournament and low and behold my boat is fixed. John Reynolds from Master Marine came by while I was gone and replaced steering wheel, cable and unfroze motor and tilt and trim. He does great work and at the house. Lucky for me, because I still can't find a trailer that doesn't cost more than my boat.

The real question is when will I have time to take myself out.

Sunday would have been a day to put on the agenda, but one of my VB reffing colleagues wants to learn how to surf fish so I figured showing him is better than talking about it so I'm taking him to the surf Sun.

ha, that's always the case. I've gotten a bunch of new fishing gear and a lot of it is still sitting there because I've not had a chance to use it yet.

btw, can you recommend a few nice spots in New Mexico to visit? my family and I are taking a trip over there this December -- we'll probably be in the Albuquerque area.

Hope the tides and wind cooperate. Wink
