Nice catch!
Just returned from there myself. Had difficulty finding a pattern on the "Big River" and ended up having a blast catching brookies along the upper stretches of Chalk Creek. They were plentiful and hungry... and tasty! |

did a guided trip on the Gunnison last Wednesday and caught a few fish, learned a TON being a near novice.
On Thursday pulled off the road on the way to Cinnamon Pass and caught a fat 16" brown on my own on an elkhair caddis, on the Lake City Fork Gunnison... crowning moment of the trip... well, besides the getting married part |

| Nice fish. Fished that area last summer. Had a great time. Stayed in NM this year and caught and released a slew of fish. 78 in all fishing streams, rivers and lakes with flies and/or lures with conventional tackle. |
