went out to bob hall in search of the elusive Texas Tarpon
ended up landing two nice reds, both were released to fight again another day(they ate live 5inch pinfish on bottom)..

had some fun with the kiddo, tried to let her pull on one of the reds, but that's a little hard for young uns' from the pier..
saw a really nice tarpon eat a slide and take 300yards of line over a minute..it jumped and threw the trebles..

shared some ice cream and got wet before going home...

really not interested in any negative comments..if you have them please keep them to your selves

going offshore in a PB tomorrow..
should be neat..haven't gone to the near shore rigs in a PB in many years..

i guess its more that no one else is attacked personally on this web sight..
i get it though, the people doing it are just upset(jealous), its to be expected and comes with the territory i suppose..
i just needed a few days to step back and get my head on strait..kinda preserve my own happiness..water off a ducks back..
not gonna let any of it get to me Cool

You should send a pic with yer daughter and the redfish to salty angler (see tylers thread), I bet yer daughter would be tickled pink if you guys made it in the mag, I know mine was.

Good to see you back on the forum, SB! I am headed down there on Wed next week with my daughter. We will likely be around PC jetties and channel - I hope we get a chance to shake hands. Love your reports -

PB = Power Boat

A boat with an engine as opposed to a kayak, which is paddled. Smile
