Howdy!
I had a funny dream last night and thought it might be fun to see what kinda fishing dreams other fisher people have had, and I'm talking about sleepy time dreams not wishful thinking.
Here's mine:
I was BTBing and caught my first king. After bleeding it I measured it and it was only like 21 inches or so. (And no, I was not wearing a tie-dyed shirt. Sorry SB, couldn't resist.) Then I got worried about a warden stopping me but it was too late so the fish went in the cooler. Then I woke up. |

Haha...yeah I've had one like that a few times. But it was middle school and I was naked except for socks and shoes. |

Yep, have that one a lot with high school and college versions. Another involves me running out of records as a dj and having "dead air' a lot. Why can't it be flying dreams, scantily clad chicks or anything fun like that? _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Man can I relate to that one.
Mine ALWAYS involve the same two classes - differential calculus & Literature
Both "final exams tests" are nearly impossible to wing it! Especially the Literature class as, in the dream, I never read any of the stories that make up the bulk of the test. |

| FishinClint, not trying to hijack your thread, but the part about the game warden reminded me of a funny story from Sept. '10. The wife and I limited out on kings at the end of the PA jetties and as evening approached , she wanted to go get our Labs from the trailer and take them out on the boat. We went to PA harbor and she went to get the dogs. As I'm sitting there a game warden boat starts coming out and I realize I'm sitting on top of (literally) twice my daily limit. I wave, they wave and keep going. Then I look down and the biggest one's tail is sticking out of the ice chest. Talk about a pucker factor!! And yes the biggest one was hers. |

Not really a dream, but I've been known to sleep fish according to my wife. I stand in the kitchen, turn on the sink and make cast after cast until I hook up. She says the fight is the best part to watch. I wouldn't know as I'm always asleep. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

I rarely sleep well the night before a much-anticipated early morning fishing trip. But, every night before a BTB trip I have nightmares about things going wrong offshore. Shark attacks, flipping, losing a paddle, storms, you name it. I think its healthy. Keeps me cognizant of the dangers, and forces me to double check every safety measure before I head out. |

| Yo guys are lucky. My most recurring dream involves being recalled into the Navy and getting sent back to Vietnam. |

Do you guys have a "leash" or teather for your paddles on a yak that prevent it from being lost? |

Tyler: I'm with you. Wish I had the cool/sexy dreams. My wife is taking Ambien and she has had some very XXX dreams b/c of it, every night she takes the Ambien actually. It's helped me get a little more action too. Maybe that's the ticket to some crazy dreams...or to removing the chastity belt.
Rodandroll: Sorry to hear that. Have you tried Ambien?
FlounderDaddy: I have a leash I made that has a carabiner I attach to the yak and the other end has a velcro strap I attach to the middle of the paddle. |

I was thinking of making a little billet clamp with a hook eye in it that yall could attached to the center of the paddle, then put the end of the line hooked to the yak. Zero chance of loosing your paddle. Im a machinist and designer by trade.
LOL at the Ambien |

Haha, that's hilarious topdog.
I've had fishing dreams down PINS. They always seem to be when it's really hot in the tent cot and they are never good dreams. Seems heat makes for bad dreams for me so I use a little tent fan to keep it cooler. Anyway, mine usually involve fish I had caught the day before, but in my dreams, the fish are a diff species or same species but under the slot. I always wake up the next morn and have to open the cooler lid. I don't wanna cuz I know it was a dream but the nagging feeling just won't stop til I do...
