Thinking about taking the wife to the surf in the morning manana since it looks to be nice, but does anyone know how bad the weed is either around bob hall or at PINS? Thanks in advance!

Not too bad but the water is still brown. However R.Arnold's mother in law got a nice trout in the brown stuff on Mustang on live shrimp.

FISH EAT IN DIRTY WATER... AND 45 MPH WINDS ..
. question is do u wanna put up with them ( wind and weed) ??? Us that live closer can pic and choose which days we wanna go and if u live far ,as I once did, u gotta go when u gotta go.

The further offshore we went yesterday, the less weed we saw. Still quite a bit floating within 5 miles of Port Aransas, but the end may be in sight.

I'm happy the weed will be gone soon. I've been fishing the back bays of Redfish Bay and the grass has been really bad along the shore.
