Took a boat ride today to check out the Brown Tide in the ULM after the wind. I found areas on the KRS and north to the bridge with some (green)
water good enough to see grass beds and sand holes. The water around Bird Island is still ugly on both the east and west sides of the ICW
for about 3 - 4 miles south then the water seems to show some green again even at the mouth of Baffin.
Let's hope that this is the start of clearing water, I think once the winds fall a little more we can get a little better look at things.

Oh, the Padre Isles channels still look ugly with the exception of the channels in the older section and behind Whataburger.

Mike

I've never seen it in the GOM....but that doesn't mean anything.

Bird island produced my third biggest trout in 7 yrs of fishing this Sunday with a fat 25" while wade fishing. Water was not too had as sun came up but did not take long and winds where blowing and water browning!
