yep that's the way it works just like the offshore oil companies can go out and blow up an oil plat form to remove it and kill 1000's of fish over and over. but we can only take 2 RS home and god forbid if you have one fish that's is a 1/2" under size you'll get bent over a barrel.

something is very wrong with this country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Critter Getter hit the nail on the head "something is very wrong with this country"......Absolutely nothing will happen to them and NJ lowered the AMERICAN FLAG to half mast when Whitney Houston died. I dont think (I could be wrong) the flag was lowered to half mast when we lost a chopper full of seals defending our country not too long ago. Just sayin...

So, why don't we do something about it?

How about we elect a local who understands the political culture of this modern USA to office? Who could it be? Which office should we go for? State or federal? Who would be willing?

Or, who has the fortitude to lead the strong-minded and hardworking of South Texas to take community action to the next level? I know it's not me, but I would stand behind that guy. I hate to say it, but I feel guilty not doing more.

I'm tired of being pissed off, feeling like the America we sing about and read about is on life support.

How about succession?

I work for the Army and i'm a US vet. I really hate it when a non-vet chews me out even if he is a higher rank. It should not be allowed. I also hate benig chewed on by anyone younger than me just because he can. My saying...good things come to those who wait. Wink

Being an employee for the army as well, however not serving in the military I've seen this happen way to often. I for one respect all veterans whether lower or higher ranking than myself. It is their sacrifice that has made our freedom possible. Unfortunately for politicians that turn around and make it not so great. Regardless I for one thank you and all the other veterans and currently service personnel for giving us what we have.

I love this country man. When I was deployed, I watched some of my friends die in horrible ways. Then Michael Jackson dies, he got all the spot light. Whitney and Michael are the true heros that deserve flags to be lowered. Not my friends dying on a battlefield thousands of miles away. We could learn something from these "heros".

Then you are a gentler soul than I when it comes to pesky rodents. I would have declared a full on jihad on that four legged SOB.
