Hello everyone,
I just wanted to update everyone on the raffle. Over the past few days there has been a tremendous out-pouring of support and there has been a number of wonderful new prizes added to the raffle.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 for one or $20.00 for five.
Here is a list of everything to this point.
Nick Myer has done a painting that we are raffling off to help support the Valentine family.
David Webb of Spoon'R Lures has donated one of each Spoon'R models as prizes, [url=http://www.breakawayusa.com/products/lures/fat-mama/">Spoon'r Fat Mama[/url], Spoon'r Surface Mama, and Spoon'r Outcast. Spoon'r lures are available at most coastal tackle shops and we have the full range in stock. Soon David will have his own website.
Peter Thain (http://www.peterthain.co.uk/), UK and World Record holder in casting, has wonderfully donated a Powertex 12'8 Bass Blank for the Jerry Valentine raffle. The blank has a list price of $316 or £200. Peter will arrange delivery with the winner.
<p>Steve Austin of Any Fish Any Where USA and the Florida Surcasters Club, will be donating an 11' AFAW Estuary Blank and will also pay the shipping to winner's address.
Tommy Farmer of Carolina Cast Pro has donated a Cast Pro Series 12', 3 - 7oz spinning or casting rod. We will ship directly to raffle winner.
<p>Charles Portaluppi from Executive Foreign Cars in Woodbridge, VA. has donated a Zziplex Hi Flex M427 new blank in the bag and will also cover the shipping to the winner of this fine prize.
Claus Raetzer has donated a Ultra Mag 2 fully converted casting reel in the original box. This is a fine example of this reel in very good condition. The reel has a Benfield Conversion and is in the original box.
Shore Fishing and Casting Club (SFCCI), the Texas based casting club has come forward with a wonderful donation towards the Jerry Valentine Support Group of $1135.00.
This is a wonderful donation and on behalf of Jerry and Debbie I would like to thank you. Your the best and I am very pleased to consider you friends and fellow casters.

Ryan White of Hatteras Jacks North Carolina http://www.hatterasjack.com/and one of the premier rod builders in the USA has offered to support the Jerry Valentine Support Raffle with a donation of a $500.00 gift certificate towards a custom rod of your choice.
The raffle will continue until the end of this month. 03/31/2012
We will draw for the winners and then draw for the prizes as the winning tickets are pulled. IE: ticket number 206 is selected, we will then draw from a separate container to see what prize will be awarded.
