Thinking of hitting the flats in the morning on the aransas pass side, not really sure where to fish at. Anyone got some tips on spots, that would be great. thanks.

Check out the point on the map in aransas pass. If you have a kayak, lighthouse lakes is a great spot. Tomorrow should be glassy calm before 10am...my best is you may find a tail or two there.

I am no pro like some of the others here and I'm not sure what you're targeting but in AP, you can never go wrong with the channel drop-off's. I like to use either live shrimp or gulps along the bottom. Specks, reds, flounder and drum can be found there!!! What I personally would do is throw a line out with half a crab on a heavy rod in the middle of the channel and set it in a rod holder. While your waiting for that big ugly, work the bank with a light rod! Good luck,
Zack
