So this Kayak Wars looks kinda interestin. Any semi-serious to not-so-serious yakkers wanna start up a team. Heck you can't beat a free tourney and fishing with new people. Just post on here if you might be interested. _________________ Fish On! |

I am interested in knowing more info. Got a website? I wouldn't mind teaming up with you, He who shall not be mentioned, Dorado and maybe a few more, depending on the details. Is it a fishing tournament or a kayak race, because I am too old, too fat, and too lazy to race. But I am in great shape to fish! _________________ Fish till I die and if all goes well fish then as well. |

Alright well so far we have misterwill, dorado, He who shall not be mentioned, and myself. I believe the rules allowed up to 5 so we could use uno mas to make it a full team. Will check out the tournament page of the forum and Oz posted a link for the website complete with rules and such. But it looks like you compete based on region and types of fish. It's a catch, take a photo, and upload system. There are special requirements for the photos (resolution and time/date stamp), but I think yall's cameras meet those specifications. Now we need a team name? Dinks? _________________ Fish On! |

Hey Grinder...my OK is nice, wish it were a little wider, maybe one called the Driffter I think, but none the less a true and strait ride... _________________ Yak on my friends.... |

Bring it! It's a lot of fun
There aren't too many 'Free to Join' Tournaments out there and this one is among the best. _________________ -Oz |

I was suggesting the Scrambler XT since it comes pre configured with rod holders and whatnot. I have a Malibu II which is wide enough I can stand up on it on a calm day. Only dislike about it is that its a bit heavy. |

Grinder, I have the scrambler (plain) added pole holders, remember seeing on a bit wider and wishin I'd gone that direction...So coach where are we on Kayak wars, how many do you have signed up? Maybe we need 2 teams, I was thinking "Dink One" and "Dink Two"..... _________________ Yak on my friends.... |

That would be funny...then it could be a mini-competition between the dinks. We actually did have 2 more guys send me a pm so two teams would be a good idea, but now we need a couple more yakkers. One guy is from SA and fishes freshwater a lot, and the other one did not say where he calls home. So maybe one saltwater team and one salt & fresh? How about we keep this post going til Monday and then we will shut it down and make some teams. _________________ Fish On! |
