Hello all. The family and I went fishing/camping at fish pass Friday and Saturday. Me and Israel showed up with little Collin Friday afternoon. Set-up camp which it pretty cool because Israel has really awesome setup.
As soon as we where done went to fishing. The water was clear and green! I had not been able to fish the beach since last February so it was like heaven on earth!! The sound of the wind all around me, the sand between my toes, seeing my little man covered in sand, and the smell of salt in the air. What more could you ask for?
Salty Dog and Mrs. Salty Dog (aka Mom & Dad) arrived latter that afternoon with their new condo (aka truck camper). Israel fished well past dark with his head lamp a single orb of light floating on the beaches edge on a night with no real moon. Israel caught a descant black drum and a nice size pomp in between all the whiting and heard heads. Almost every time we reeled in there was a fish on. It was fun.
That night it rained a little but, other wise a nice night. When we woke the front had already started making its way across the beach. The most beautiful thing was the rainbows; yes there were two full ones right over our camp sight. Salty Dog began his day showing little Collin the sunrise. Saturday was another successful day of catching fish. Little Collin even caught 2 fish at one time, with the help of Mrs. Salty Dog aka Grammy. . He was so excited he didn't know that could happen!!
We had a couple of visitors too, Buddahead and his nephew came by to say hello. They netted us some mullet. Thanks Gary. Mr. and Mrs. Underdog came to say hello before the headed home. It was good seeing everyone!!!
All in all it was a great trip. I could not figure how to attach photos because I don't want to use a public site like photobucket so you will have to check my facebook page. sorry!
