Is Divorce free how how can i go about getting a divorce and lawyer? I am planning on getting a divorce. but i don't have the money for it. Is there any lawyers out there that can help me with or anyone know of something i can do? I need to get out of this marriage!

If you read between the lines a bit, you might find some of those attorneys doing a little pro bono work here on this site from time to time. Wink

The wife and I filed pros-se (probably not spelled correctly) submitted form to county, went before a judge.

Less than $200.00 and we were legally divorced.

I believe you can do it yourself if no kids involved. Paper work can be downloaded from Internet or obtained from county clerks office.

Yes you can do your own divorce. My wife did her own divorce from her ex. You need to go to a book store and get a manual on Texas Divorces that walks you through everything and if you get the right one it will come with a CD.
