| My wife and I have always been partial to Beulah's, don't have to order seafood, but if you do it's plenty good. Shell's, Virginia's, Marcel's- depends on how fancy you want to get (or not). Other's will disagree, but never been a big fan of Trout St. for anything except drinks and the views better upstairs at Virginia's anyway. |

| whatever you do dont go to the jalisco! The burgers are very good from the burger and pizza place on the corner next to subway Port A brewing Co. They have a good calzone also. Unfortunately all the places ive tried on the island are over priced and imo not good. I havent tried FINS or troutstreet. Im usually there every other weekend atleast and we normally cook all our food. At 3$, $5 and $7 a lb for fresh shrimp from the boats we have been spoiled and have been eating all you can eat shrimp any way we can cook it. Id rather pay $5 for some fresh shrimp than 5 at DQ for a value meal. |

| Oh yeah, forgot to mention Kody's on 361. Very casual, but you can get darn good food there from burgers to tenderloin/ribeyes/prime rib to all kinds of seafood, not just fried baskets. |

Port A Brewing Company has excellent burgers and fries. Fried shrimp is pretty good also. Pizzas are great, and the cold home-brewed beer on tap is excellent. It's a little noisy in there, but they do have good TV sports on most of the time. _________________ E Pluribus Unum |

I've always been a little partial to Marcel's. Not that pricey, relatively speaking, usually not that crowded, pretty small and quiet (probably not the best place to bring the young kiddos), the fish specials are consistently good, and they have some German stuff on the menu for non-fish people. Most importantly, bunches of good beer. One of the few places I know to find Ayinger hefe.
Port A is a small place with easy parking - if you are there on the weekdays, shouldn't be crowded. I say just spend 30-45 minutes checking out everyone's menus and pick what you like!
Oh, and FINS makes a good point. If you have the ability to cook, a shrimp boil with shrimp fresh off the boat over by the ferry landing is hard to beat! |
