Heading down tomorrow evening for a couple of days with the better half. We'll be staying by packery and I'm hoping to get her out on the beach at least once. Hows the fishing/driving been from Packery south to the north end of PINS? I've been as far as 20 miles down with my 2WD before but had to carefully pick my day and conditions so I am not planning on getting too crazy, just want to show her how nice it can be so maybe I can replace the 2WD with a 4WD in the near future.

Thanks in advance
Archer

Just got back from making that drive. It's mostly OK, but there are a few soft spots that a two wheel drive may have slight problems. The beach entrance at Bob Hall Pier is soft. Several people had parked in the middle of the hard pack and it was soft going around them in several spots down the beach. Even if you get stuck, there is always someone that will come by and help get you out.
