When I was down for the offshore trip last week (EPIC!!!) I told Bobber that I don't gamble. The big, important things in life usually work out but not the everyday stuff................................................. like planning that trip for 6 months only to have AJ season closed! Embarassed

Well, lightning does strike more than once in the same place folks. A LOT of what's been on my mind for the last 6 months has been catching AND EATING mouth watering AJ's in Corpus and a week and a half from now in Destin. Guess what? The AJ season is closed THERE TOO until July 31!!!!!!!! Shocked

It's been 3 years since we've been to Destin, so whatever I catch will be fine. It's just ironic as hell that I built this butterfly jigging rod and bought the reel to do this type of fishing with AJ's in particular in mind, and they LOVE it, but I can't keep any!!!!! Rolling Eyes
