My 2002 yak-mobile has got the "C", not real bad yet but I know once discovered it will go quick. With that said, looking for suggestions on life saving measures. Seen a couple trucks lately that were "painted" with what appears to be bed liner material. Would seem that once the rust was cut out this would be a good way to keep it gone...thoughts, and anyone have experience with this idea. Pros/Cons

Thanks

my fishing truck is due for a under coating, was think bout getting liner sprayed about half ways up the body at the same time.if i do that and get an other 4,5 years out of her,id be happy,it all beats the alternative and that's buying a new one, lol.ive seen guys do what your talking about, never heard any thing negative about it.go for it.talking bout your jeep right ?should be fairly inexpensive.probably save some money by sanding and grinding it your self to,then all they half to do is spray.

Most is limited to all the hinges, though there are a couple other spots. Bottom line I am looking for a solution. Also thinking that I would opt to replace all hinges w/ stainless after market stuff.

bed liner looks good but whats under it after its on is the killer. A friend and i did this to some stuff and once it starts to rust under it you will not know it till its way to late. i'll never use that stuff like that again.
