Just walked out my door up here in SA and my vehicle is iced up. So is my back porch and it is only 7:50pm. Went to HEB earlier and a bunch of shrimp jumped in my cart so I am ready for the freeze.

I am already home sick as a dog or I would be back out there w/ Mr. Nelson finding the Trout. Instead I'm stuck here with nothing good on TV... can only take so much of the original Krull Movie on whatever damn channel that is.

I think I will pass on tomorrow. For one, I am not nearly as mad at them fish now as I once was, for two, I have to report for for jury duty in federal court in Corpus tomorrow at 8:00am. I have a feeling Haden Head would frown on me skiping that date!

rabbit's pic reminds me of up north, white sand even on the truck. by the way, die hard could refer to freezing to death, not a fun way to go. the fish don't know any better, they will wait for us. God bless our troops.

Rabbit, I think you win the die hard contest sitting there in the snow. When you took that picture I was catching trout in the Aransas Pass shrimp boat harbor and laying them in the snow.

Just saw Cpt. Nate at the boat barn as he was putting the boat away from the day. He said they caught solid five pounders all day with one trout going 8lbs.
