Wind was down so I put in at dimmit. Made 3 drifts and caught 3 reds:D Also incountered and idiot driving a haney all decked out nice and pretty with decals and everything. He came so close to me he almost swamped me, took a picture and was going to post it but some how I lost it off my phone. The reds went 26 1/2, 25 1/4 and 24.

I should have stuck with my plan and fished that area! Instead, I went and checked out the southside of the causeway and ended up with a few trout but I was targeting reds. Nice catch!

nice rabbit. I thought about heading out today too but I thought it would blow all day. Wind might be down tomorrow morning too! Twisted Evil

If it is, I am going to paddle as far southeast as humanly possible before it starts up again, and take advantage of long drift back.

nice catch! i wouldnt be surprised if its one of the haneys that is posted on 2cool there seems to be a lot of really decked out ones on that forum

Sorry about your encounter with that idiot on the water. I know there everywhere, we encounter them up here in the galveston area. It's like thier blind to waders and kayakers.
