| I need my lower unit rebuilt or swapped out with a working one. I can get one from Florida shipped for 500.00. Can anyone beat or match that here? I can do all the labor I just need a working preferably newly rebuilt lower unit. PM or respond to this. I have no knowledge of what lower units go for so if my 500.00 offer is crazy let me know and I will buy the one in FL ASAP. FIshing time is being wasted..................................................................... |

| I took apart my entire lower unit this morning and I am not sure what to do now. I cannot get the gears out they look completely screwed up! The shaft is good the water pump is only 1 year old. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know the cheapest place to get replacement gears? Are the gears just dropped in and aligned then clean the gasket area replace gaskets and run???? I would like to get this done myself as inexpensively as possible of course! |
